Welcome Minions! is a game of friendly bickering, plotting, and planning. If you’ve ever seen henchmen and mooks argue with one another while bumbling the simplest missions, then you’ll know how to play this game. Please your master and earn his favor while you sabotage and plot against your fellow minions!

All you need to play is a deck of cards, and 3-10 people who don’t mind plotting against one another! A great party game for all ages! Games can last 20 minutes, or go on all night. Let your creativity and fiendishness combine to create a fun and whacky night of crazy adventures! Welcome Minions! is very simple, and easy to play! For ages 7 to 97. Note: This game is unfit for human consumption, and should only be played by Minions, Mooks, or Henchmen.

Example of Play:

4 Minions: Dave, Steve, Carl, and Frank.
Their cards and scores are listed in parenthesis next to their names.

Mission: Go to a Shopping Mall across town and bring back a Large Pizza for the Master without drawing attention or causing a scene.

Carl (Q, Joker score: 21) is the current Leader.
Dave (6,8 score: 14)
Steve (1,9 score: 10)
Frank (K,4 score: 5) is the current Numpty.

Planning – Carl Pitches his plan to the group
Carl: “Okay, we’ve arrived at the Mall, let’s go inside! We will sneak along the outside looking for an open maintenance door (since we can’t go in the front without making a scene).”

Plotting – Everyone but Carl draws and places cards, in order from highest to lowest
Dave draws a 7. He places it over Carl’s Joker.
Steve draws a 3. He places it over Dave’s 8.
Frank draws a King. He places it over Steve’s 9.

New Scores
Carl (Q, 7 score: 8) is the current Leader.
Dave (6,3 score: 9)
Steve (1,K score: 2)
Frank (K,4 score: 5) is the current Numpty.

Outcome
Carl draws two cards, a 9 of Spades and a King of Hearts (total: 10)
Carl: “My current score is 8, and these are…10! Dammit! My plan failed…what went wrong?”

Consequence
Frank: “Well, let me see those cards…Hearts is Interpersonal, and Spades is Crazy…So let’s say that I went crazy, and caused a scene! I foamed at the mouth, screamed, and ran around in a hexagon shouting about the pudding taste in the air!” Let’s see how the next leader gets out of this one!

Overthrow
Carl (Q, 7 score: 8)
Dave (6,3 score: 9) is the New Leader.
Steve (1,K score: 2) is the New Numpty.
Frank (K,4 score: 5) has earned 1 Point
NEW ROUND

Planning – Dave Pitches his plan to the group, and he MUST deal with the consequence first.
Dave: “I’m the New Leader! Well great, thanks Frank for that stupid display. Now we’ve got to deal with you somehow….hmmmm. I know! The rest of us will also run around, do acrobatics, tricks, and try to act like street performers! Afterwards, we should be relatively ignored….hopefully.”

Plotting – Everyone but Dave draws and places cards, in order from highest to lowest
Carl draws a Q. He places it over Dave’s 6.
Frank draws a 5. He places it over Frank’s K.
Steve draws a 9. He places it over Steve’s 1.

New Scores
Carl (Q, 7 score: 8)
Dave (Q,3 score: 4) is the New Leader.
Steve (9,K score: 10) is the New Numpty.
Frank (5,4 score: 9) has earned 1 Point

Outcome
Dave draws two cards, a 2 of Spades and a King of Spades(total: 10)
Dave: “My current score is 4, and these are…3! HA!! Deal with it Frank! 3 Points!”

Consequence
<no consequences>
Dave: “hehe, no consequences! The Next Leader gets to continue onward with the mission…..wait, who’s the next Leader?”
Steve: “THE STEVE SHALL RISE AGAIN!”
All: “NOOOOOOO!”

Overthrow

Dave (Q,3 score: 4) is the New Numpty. Has earned 3 Points.
Steve (9,K score: 10) is the New Leader.

Steve: “Alright Gents, you know what time it is. Carl, you’re on the bottom, Frank, you’ll be the head, and Dave, hand me the giant weasel costume….let’s do this!”
